Terms of Use

Last updated: October 6, 2025
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the website rentgorabat.com (the “Website”) and the car rental services promoted through our concept “Car Hire Rabat No Deposit, No Credit Card” in cooperation with local partners. By browsing the Website, making an enquiry or booking a car through us, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully before confirming your rental.

1. General Information

  • 1.1. RentGo Rabat operates as a local-focused car rental intermediary in Morocco. We do not own vehicles ourselves; instead, we cooperate with independent local car rental companies in Rabat, Salé and surrounding areas.
  • 1.2. The Website allows you to view offers from local partners and send booking requests. The final rental agreement is concluded directly between you and the local car rental provider (“Supplier”).
  • 1.3. All bookings are subject to vehicle availability, Supplier confirmation and the Supplier’s own terms and conditions in addition to these Terms.
  • 1.4. By using our services, you confirm that you meet the driver and age requirements set out in the relevant offer, these Terms and the Supplier’s rental agreement.

2. Booking and Payment

  • 2.1. Reservations can be requested via the Website, by email or through communication channels indicated on the Website.
  • 2.2. Some offers follow the “Car Hire Rabat No Deposit, No Credit Card” model, meaning no or low deposit and the possibility to pay with debit card or cash on arrival. However, not all offers are deposit-free and not all Suppliers accept all payment types.
  • 2.3. For each offer, the applicable payment methods (e.g. credit card, debit card, cash) and any required deposit or excess are indicated before you confirm your booking and are further specified in the Supplier’s rental agreement.
  • 2.4. Prices usually include basic insurance required by local law, a standard mileage allowance and local taxes, unless otherwise stated. Optional extras (e.g. child seats, GPS, additional driver, extended insurance) may incur additional daily or fixed charges.
  • 2.5. Currency information (e.g. MAD, EUR, USD) is indicated in the offer. Where prices are shown in more than one currency, the Supplier’s rental agreement and payment currency prevail.

3. Driver Requirements

  • 3.1. Drivers must meet the minimum age specified in the offer and by the Supplier (for example, 21–25 years depending on vehicle category).
  • 3.2. A valid driving licence must be presented at pickup. Non-local licences and certain countries’ licences may require an International Driving Permit (IDP) according to Moroccan law and Supplier policies.
  • 3.3. Drivers are typically required to have held a licence for a minimum period (e.g. 1–3 years); exact requirements are specified by the Supplier.
  • 3.4. Additional drivers must be declared at booking or pickup and may be subject to additional fees. Only drivers listed in the rental agreement may drive the vehicle.

4. Insurance and Liability

  • 4.1. All rentals include at least basic third-party liability insurance in accordance with applicable Moroccan law, as provided by the Supplier.
  • 4.2. Optional coverages (e.g. collision damage waiver, theft protection, excess reduction or full cover) may be available at an additional cost. Details and exclusions are provided by the Supplier and are set out in the rental agreement.
  • 4.3. Insurance generally does not cover negligent or prohibited use, including but not limited to: driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, reckless driving, unauthorised off-road use, or use by non-authorised drivers.
  • 4.4. Damage to certain parts of the vehicle (for example, tyres, glass, underbody, interior or roof) may not be fully covered under basic policies. Please check the specific coverage described in the offer and rental agreement.
  • 4.5. In the event of an accident, theft or damage, you must follow the Supplier’s procedures, which may include notifying the police, contacting the Supplier immediately and completing incident forms. Failure to comply may affect insurance coverage and your financial responsibility.

5. Vehicle Use

  • 5.1. The vehicle must be used responsibly and in accordance with Moroccan traffic laws, as well as the Supplier’s conditions.
  • 5.2. The vehicle may only be driven within permitted territories specified by the Supplier (usually within Morocco). Cross-border travel or use in restricted areas requires prior written approval and may not be allowed.
  • 5.3. The vehicle may not be used for illegal activities, racing, towing, driving lessons, or commercial transport (e.g. taxi, ride-hailing) unless explicitly authorised by the Supplier and insurance.
  • 5.4. Smoking and carrying pets in the vehicle is only permitted if agreed with the Supplier and may result in additional cleaning or damage fees.
  • 5.5. The renter is responsible for all fines, penalties, tolls, parking tickets and similar charges incurred during the rental period.

6. Fuel and Mileage

  • 6.1. The standard fuel policy is usually “same-to-same” or “full-to-full” (return the vehicle with the same fuel level as at pickup), unless another policy is specified in the offer or rental agreement.
  • 6.2. Many offers include a daily mileage limit. If you exceed this limit, additional charges per kilometre may apply according to the Supplier’s tariff.
  • 6.3. Exact fuel policy and mileage limits are presented in the offer prior to booking and confirmed in the rental agreement. It is your responsibility to review and respect these conditions.

7. Pickup and Return

  • 7.1. Pickup and return locations typically include Rabat–Salé Airport (RBA), central Rabat, parts of Salé and selected coastal zones. Available locations depend on the specific offer and Supplier.
  • 7.2. The vehicle must be collected and returned at the agreed time and place. Late returns may incur extra fees, including additional rental days, according to the Supplier’s policy.
  • 7.3. At pickup, you are expected to check the car’s condition and ensure any existing damage is recorded in the rental documents. At return, the vehicle should be in the same condition, allowing for normal wear and tear.
  • 7.4. Failure to return the vehicle as agreed, or abandoning the vehicle without notice, may lead to additional charges and legal consequences.

8. Cancellations and Modifications

  • 8.1. Cancellation and modification rules (including free cancellation periods and potential fees) are indicated in each offer and may vary by Supplier, season and rate type.
  • 8.2. Cancellations within the free cancellation period, where offered, are usually without penalty. Late cancellations, no-shows or significant last-minute changes may incur charges up to the full rental amount.
  • 8.3. Modifications such as changing vehicle category, dates, pickup/return location or adding extras are subject to availability and may affect the price. The Supplier’s policy on modifications will apply.

9. Responsibility and Limitations

  • 9.1. Role of RentGo Rabat: we act as an intermediary between you and the local Supplier. We facilitate the presentation of offers and the transfer of booking information. The rental contract is ultimately concluded between you and the Supplier, who is responsible for providing the vehicle and related services.
  • 9.2. While we aim to present accurate and up-to-date information, rates, availability, vehicle images and conditions on the Website are provided by Suppliers and may change. The details in your confirmed booking and rental agreement prevail over general Website content.
  • 9.3. To the maximum extent permitted by law, RentGo Rabat is not liable for:
    • indirect or consequential losses, such as missed flights, lost business, or loss of enjoyment,
    • delays, breakdowns, accidents, weather conditions, traffic or road closures,
    • acts or omissions of Suppliers or other third parties beyond our reasonable control.
  • 9.4. Roadside assistance and support during the rental are provided according to the Supplier’s policy and contact information in your rental documents.

10. Website Use

  • 10.1. The content on rentgorabat.com is provided for general information and to support booking decisions. We do not guarantee that all information is free from errors, complete or always up to date.
  • 10.2. You agree not to misuse the Website, including but not limited to:
    • attempting to hack, overload or disrupt the Website,
    • using automated tools (bots, scrapers) in a way that affects normal operation,
    • posting or transmitting malicious code or harmful content.
  • 10.3. Intellectual property rights in the Website content (texts, logos, design elements) are owned by us or our licensors. You may use the Website for personal, non-commercial purposes only, unless expressly agreed otherwise.

11. Governing Law and Disputes

  • 11.1. These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to the operation of RentGo Rabat, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection rules that may apply in your country of residence.
  • 11.2. Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms, the Website or our intermediary services shall, where possible, be resolved amicably. If no amicable solution is reached, the dispute may be submitted to the competent courts in the relevant jurisdiction, taking into account applicable consumer protection rules.

12. Changes to These Terms

  • 12.1. We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our services, legal requirements or Website functionality.
  • 12.2. Updated versions will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date. Continued use of the Website after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
